The trip will begin with a two day training camp starting on June 23rd. We will depart for Osaka on the 25th. After arriving on the 26th, the team will have a couple of days of sightseeing. Sightseeing on these days will include a visit to the Kiyomizu-dera Temple which is over 1000 years old. While in Osaka the team will have four days of games against local college and regional all-star teams.

On July 2th the team will board the world famous Bullet Train for a fast ride to Tokyo. On the following day we will take a guided all day tour to Mt. Fuji. The team will have an additional four days of games against local college and regional all-star teams.

At USA West we pride ourselves in not only providing great lacrosse trips, but incredible cultural experiences. On top of some great sightseeing trips, players will have the unique opportunity to stay with Japanese families and really experience the Japanese culture. Each player will get 6 total nights of home stay while in Japan with three nights in Osaka and three nights in Tokyo. USA West has made 7 trips to Japan and every former player will agree that the home stay portion of the trip was the most exciting and fun experience they have ever had.

Typically USA West will have two tryouts one in San Diego and one in San Francisco. In any given year between 60-80 boys tryout for 23-25 spots on the team. Most of the U19 team is made up of graduating Seniors, some college Freshmen and one or two exceptional rising High School Seniors.
